On a summer day in Buffalo, New York, 63-year-old Shirley Conway, a Black female, was found deceased in her home at 576 Goodyear Avenue on July 24, 2010. Her death was subsequently ruled a homicide, leaving her community and family seeking answers that have yet to come. The case remains unsolved, with no arrests made or suspects publicly identified.
In the years following her death, law enforcement and community organizations have continued to appeal to the public for assistance in
resolving the case. In 2017, Crime Stoppers, in conjunction with the Buffalo Police Department, offered a combined reward of up to $2,500 for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for Shirley Conway's death. Despite the passage of time, the case remains an open investigation, a painful reminder of a life cut short and a plea for justice that has gone unanswered for over a decade.
