Brandon Vails a 28-year-old Black man, was killed on the evening of March 5, 2020, inside the lobby of his apartment building in Harlem/East Harlem. Just after 6:30 p.m., police responding to a 911 call arrived at 78 East 127th Street near Park Avenue and found him suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
