Grashino Yancy, a 32-year-old former Golden Gloves boxer, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2020, in Staten Island, New York. Yancy had returned to New York to celebrate Liberian Independence Day and was attending a neighborhood barbecue on Park Hill Avenue near Palma Drive in Clifton when the incident occurred.
