Fabian Abney, a 20-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on August 22, 2020, in a burst of gunfire inside a seventh-floor apartment at the Coney Island Houses on W. 25th St. near Mermaid Ave. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., and Abney was found with a gunshot wound to his torso.
