Khalid Monroe, a 25-year-old resident of Troy, NY, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2020, in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 26-year-old Cesar Soriano. The shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Glen Avenue and 7th Avenue. Both Monroe and Soriano, along with a third victim who survived, were transported to Albany Medical Center.
