On a late afternoon in Niagara Falls, New York, tragedy struck when Franklin D. Walker Jr., a 45-year-old Black male from North Tonawanda, was fatally shot on September 25, 2020. The incident that claimed his life is believed to have taken place in the 600 block of 20th Street. First responders were called to the vicinity of 2032 Pine Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. following reports of a person being shot.
