On June 19, 2023, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Niagara Falls police responded to a report of a shooting on the 2000 block of 18th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 44-year-old Gregorey "Funk" Vincent, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
