In the early summer of 2021, the life of 29-year-old Desmond L. 'Gent' Bitting, a male resident of Niagara Falls, New York, was cut tragically short. On the evening of June 7th, police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 19th and Niagara streets. Upon arrival, they discovered Bitting in a yard on 18th Street with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
