On a tragic day in Niagara Falls, New York, 31-year-old Brian Harris lost his life in a violent encounter that also claimed the life of his mother. The incident unfolded on May 7, 2020, on 9th Street, where police discovered Harris deceased inside a residence, having been both shot and stabbed. Just outside the home, his mother, 60-year-old Sonia Hamilton, was found on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot and stab wounds.
