Marty E. Kick, a 61-year-old resident of Niagara Falls, New York, was found dead on June 26, 2021. His body was discovered inside a pickup truck on the 1100 block of Whitney Avenue, north of Oakwood Cemetery. The police were called to the scene around 8 a.m. for a welfare check, and upon arrival, they found Kick deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. The circumstances of his death led authorities to treat the case as a homicide.
