Min Ai, a 40-year-old woman, was killed on the morning of October 26, 2020, on a Lower Manhattan street as the workday was beginning. It happened near the Financial District, in the area of Greenwich Street and Morris Street by a subway entrance, where scaffolding cast a harsh shade over the sidewalk.
