On the evening of June 29, 2022, a 20-year-old woman named Azsia Johnson was pushing her three-month-old infant in a stroller on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. As she walked near the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 95th Street, a figure approached her from behind, dressed in black and wearing a ski mask.
