In the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, a dispute between neighbors culminated in a tragic and violent event that claimed the life of 62-year-old Yvette Rivera on October 18, 2019. Residing in a brownstone on West 131st Street with her partner, Hampton Smith, who served as the building's superintendent, Rivera found her life cut short in a horrifying double murder-suicide.
