In May of 2020, a tragic event unfolded in Manhattan, New York, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Reina Dominguez. The incident, which shocked those who knew her, was part of a violent rampage carried out by an off-duty bus driver who was also an auxiliary police officer with the NYPD.
The series of events began when the man, who was the estranged husband of Dominguez's sister, initiated a violent attack. During this rampage, he fatally stabbed and shot Reina Dominguez.
In addition to the murder of his sister-in-law, he also injured a male friend of his estranged wife.
