In the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, a devoted son and father’s life was tragically cut short. Keith Anthony Jones, a 27-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on September 22, 2016. Family members reported that the shooting occurred as he was coming to the aid of his mother, a final act of love for a woman who cherished him deeply.
