In the late hours of a December night in Utica, New York, a dispute escalated into a tragedy that cut short the life of 17-year-old Jahzeir Johnson. The young man, known for his love of basketball and his engaging sense of humor, was fatally shot on the 1400 block of City Street on December 14, 2020.
