In the winter of 2020, a quiet evening in the Bronx was shattered by violence, leaving a 46-year-old man, Robert Forrest, dead from a fatal gunshot wound. On the night of December 14th, police responded to a 911 call from an apartment on Carpenter Avenue. Inside, they discovered the lifeless body of Forrest, who had been shot in the head. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead.
