Death by Force

On April 7, 2021, Tziah Townsend, a 21-year-old resident of Brooklyn, NY, was tragically shot and killed in the Bronx. The incident occurred at approximately 12:22 a.m. behind a building at NYCHA’s Claremont Parkway-Franklin Avenue Houses. Townsend was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
