Abdessamad Essafoui, a 23-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2021. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Cruger Avenue near Lydig Avenue, just two blocks away from Bronx Park. Essafoui was found by police with a gunshot wound to his chest.
