In the summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm in a southwest Rochester neighborhood, tragically ending the life of 20-year-old Madison Boorom. The shooting unfolded on June 21, 2021, near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Dr. Samuel McCree Way. Madison was struck multiple times in her upper body.
