On June 9, 2023, 47-year-old Daniel Arguijo was fatally shot outside his residence at the Palms at Cypress Station apartments in Houston, Texas. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and observed a man standing over Arguijo's body, firing additional rounds before fleeing the scene. The assailant was identified as Melvin Walker, a 60-year-old neighbor with a history of criminal offenses.
