In the late afternoon of a summer day in Albany, New York, the life of 19-year-old Jordan Latimer was tragically cut short by gunfire. On August 1, 2021, Latimer, a male, and another 22-year-old man were shot near the intersection of Catherine and Elizabeth Streets. Both victims were transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, but Latimer succumbed to his injuries, becoming the city's 12th homicide victim of the year.
