arrest nearly two months later. On October 26, 2021, Rochester police took 25-year-old Tyrique Griffin into custody. Authorities alleged that Griffin was the individual who had chased and ultimately shot Keegan Whitley. The motive for the chase and subsequent shooting has not been publicly detailed.
Following his arrest, Tyrique Griffin was charged with second-degree murder and weapons possession. He was scheduled for arraignment the day after his arrest to face the allegations against him in court.
