A quiet street in the Charlotte Gardens section of the Bronx became the scene of a fatal shooting on the evening of August 30, 2021. Luis Giovanni Colon, a 26-year-old man from Allentown, Pennsylvania, was shot multiple times in the torso in front of an apartment building at 1693 Vyse Avenue around 9:15 p.m.
