On the night of May 26, 2022, Charles Gibson Jr., a 35-year-old resident of Albany, New York, was tragically murdered. Charles was walking down Quail Street in the West Hill neighborhood when he was approached by a man who robbed him at gunpoint. The assailant, later identified as Ahlaumion Hall, shot Charles with a shotgun before fleeing the scene. Despite the swift response of law enforcement, Charles succumbed to his injuries at the corner of Quail and Second Streets.
