Derek Davis, a 32-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on June 18, 2022. The incident began when Davis arrived at Lincoln Medical Center around 12:30 a.m. with what initially appeared to be a stab wound to his torso. However, upon further examination, medical staff discovered that Davis had actually been shot. Despite the medical team's efforts, Davis succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival at the hospital.
