Monique Franchone Davis, an 18-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 9, 1985, in Contra Costa County, California. Her death was ruled a homicide, and her body was discovered behind a Richmond business by a worker. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head. Investigators later linked her murder to a series of killings that occurred in the East Bay during a three-month period in 1985.
