On June 28, 2022, 19-year-old Alexy Ortiz from Buffalo, NY, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on the Scajaquada Expressway, also known as Route 198. The incident occurred in the evening when Ortiz and another individual, 21-year-old Luis Mercado, were riding dirt bikes near Delaware Park.
