Ebrom M. Gono, a 44-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, July 15, 2022, in Staten Island, New York. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. in front of an apartment building located at 55 Bowen Street. Gono, an intelligent and quiet member of the Staten Island Liberian community, sustained a gunshot wound to his left armpit. Another man, who was 28 years old, was also shot in the leg during the same event but survived his injuries.
