In the summer of 2022, a violent altercation outside a bar on Lyell Avenue in Rochester, New York, tragically cut short the life of 36-year-old Derek Taylor. On the morning of July 24th, police responded to the scene to find Taylor with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was quickly transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
