In the late summer of 2022, a domestic tragedy unfolded in a Rochester, New York, neighborhood, ending a marriage that had spanned over four decades. On September 20th, police responded to a call and discovered the body of 72-year-old Rawleigh Andrews in the driveway of his home. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The circumstances of his death were immediately suspicious, leading investigators to quickly detain a person of interest at the scene.
