In the summer of 2022, a 36-year-old man, Anthony Edwards, a father of four, was fatally shot in Queens, New York. On the morning of July 31st, Edwards was sitting in his car at the intersection of Beach 38th Street and Norton Avenue in Edgemere when a gunman opened fire, striking him in the head. Emergency services responded to the scene and pronounced him dead. The assailant fled the area in a white Jeep following the shooting.
