On a Tuesday afternoon in Queens, New York, a dispute over a drug debt escalated into a fatal encounter for 30-year-old Christopher Cognata. On November 22, 2016, Cognata went to an apartment on 151st Avenue in Howard Beach to confront Joseph Amatuccio about money owed from a narcotics deal.
