Jabeon Bivins, a 24-year-old former high school basketball star from Baldwin High School, was tragically shot and killed on August 15, 2022, in Far Rockaway, Queens. The incident occurred in the courtyard of the Redfern Houses complex, where Bivins was struck in the head by gunfire from two assailants.
