In the early morning hours of March 12, 2012, the life of 18-year-old Darryl Adams was tragically cut short in the South Jamaica Houses of Queens, New York. Surveillance cameras in the public housing development captured the harrowing final moments of the young man's life. Adams was seen on video running for his life, pursued by two assailants. After stumbling and falling to the ground, one of the pursuers callously stood over him and fired a fatal shot.
