In November of 2022, the quiet community of Princetown, New York, was shaken by the tragic death of Alesia L. Wadsworth. A 59-year-old female, Wadsworth was found deceased in her home on Reynolds Road, the victim of a fatal shooting. The grim discovery was made after she failed to appear for work, prompting a welfare check by law enforcement.
Responding State Troopers and Schenectady County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the residence to find a sorrowful scene.
Alongside Alesia was her long-term partner, William Horwood, who had also been shot and killed. The incident, which would have been on the eve of Alesia's 60th birthday, sent ripples of shock and grief through the local area.
The investigation into the double homicide quickly led to a suspect close to home. Alesia's own son, 19-year-old Nicholas Fiebka, was arrested in connection with the deaths. He was subsequently charged with two counts of second-degree murder. Fiebka was taken into custody and is being held at the Schenectady County Jail as the legal proceedings against him continue.
