Councilman Dominic M. Leone, aged 50, was tragically killed on April 13, 1976, in Baltimore, Maryland. Leone, a Democrat representing the 6th District, was fatally shot by Charles Hopkins, an individual later found to be suffering from paranoid-type schizophrenia.
