In the winter of 1982, a brave off-duty police officer lost his life while protecting others. On February 8th, 28-year-old Prince George's County Police Officer Raymond Hubbard was shopping at the Iverson Mall in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, when he witnessed an armed robbery unfolding at a jewelry store.
