Michael Anthony Neal, aged 27, was tragically murdered on June 10, 2001, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. On that fateful morning, officers responded to a shooting call at the 12700 block of New Town Way. Upon arrival, they found Neal suffering from severe trauma to his body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Neal was shot while lying in bed next to his fiancée, with their one-month-old son in a bassinet nearby and their 12-year-old daughter sleeping in a bedroom downstairs.
