On a late Thursday night in June of 2020, events unfolded that would end the life of 20-year-old Darion Gripper of Bowie, Maryland. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 11th, patrol officers were dispatched to the intersection of Central Avenue and Kettering Drive in Kettering, Maryland, following a report of a single-vehicle collision.
