On March 2, 2023, 17-year-old Michael Nwaulu was fatally shot in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. when police responded to reports of two teenagers suffering from gunshot wounds in the vicinity of Rock Spring Drive and Parkstone Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Nwaulu dead at the scene, while another teenager was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Nwaulu was a student at Dr. Henry A.
