On April 21, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland, 15-year-old Demarris Johnson was shot on Fait Avenue. He survived the initial shooting but suffered long-term injuries. Tragically, on February 8, 2023, at the age of 30, Demarris succumbed to complications arising from the injuries sustained in the 2007 incident. Following his death, the Medical Examiner's office ruled it a homicide.
