On a summer evening in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of James Faw, a 31-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short. On June 11, 2020, in the 3700 block of Bowers Avenue, Faw was shot in the chest. Police responded to a report of the shooting shortly after 8 p.m. and found Faw with a critical gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
