In the early morning hours of May 10, 2007, the life of 38-year-old Charlestine Mae Godbold was tragically cut short. At approximately 1:45 a.m., she was shot and killed in what authorities believe was a domestic incident. The shooting occurred in the 9500 block of Badger Avenue in Clinton, Maryland, which was also listed as Godbold's home address.
The day after the fatal shooting, on May 11, 2007, an arrest was made in connection with the case.
Jerome Michael Miller, who was 45 years old at the time, was taken into custody by police. Miller, who resided at the same address on Badger Avenue, was subsequently charged with first-degree murder in the death of Charlestine Godbold.
