On the evening of January 6, 2022, a domestic dispute in Clinton, Maryland, ended in a tragic loss of life. Taledia Oxley, a 44-year-old female, was fatally shot inside her home on Wendy Street. The violence of that evening also claimed the life of her 8-year-old son, Asa Oxley, and left her husband, James Oxley, with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Two other children in the home, a 2-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son, were unharmed.
