On January 1, 2023, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Prince George's County Police responded to a domestic-related incident at a residence in the 2500 block of Lazy Acres Road in Clinton, Maryland. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Monique Duncan and 42-year-old Maurice Moore, both residents of the home and in a relationship, deceased. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Duncan died from gunshot wounds, while Moore succumbed to a stab wound.
