On May 28, 2007, at approximately 2:08 a.m., 46-year-old Chauncey Harold Jones was fatally shot in his residence on the 3600 block of 24th Avenue in Temple Hills, Maryland. The incident was classified as a domestic dispute, with Jones being shot by his brother-in-law, Frederick Louis Gwyn, aged 67.
