On the morning of November 14, 2007, Torean Thomas Edon, a 56-year-old Black male, was found shot near his home in the District Heights area of Prince George’s County, Maryland. Police went to the 2500 block of Edfeldt Drive after receiving a call about an unconscious person, and they discovered him with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving investigators to reconstruct what happened in the moments before neighbors realized something was terribly wrong.
