Nathaniel 'Nate' Hampton III, a 24-year-old resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was tragically found dead on February 2, 2022, in District Heights. The incident occurred shortly after midnight when patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 6500 block of Hil Mar Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Hampton unresponsive in the driver's seat of a parked car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
