Man dies in triple shooting
In the warm, early morning hours of Monday, July 3, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet, leaving tragedy in its wake. Timothy Maurice Armstrong, a 39-year-old African-American man, was fatally wounded in the incident. He and a friend, Tyrone Brumfield, were sitting on the steps of a home in the 1900 block of Spanish Town Road at approximately 1:25 a.m.
